Senior Business Analyst – Compliance Transformation / Financial Crime

£600 per day (Inside IR35)

We’re partnering with a leading global investment bank to hire an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support major Compliance and Technology transformation initiatives across the organisation.

You’ll work across strategic programmes including a global initiative to implement a unified compliance technology platform supporting consistent financial crime monitoring and a Kofax Fax upgrade programme focused on modernising application infrastructure and ensuring continued service availability.

This role will sit at the intersection of business and technology, working with Compliance stakeholders, technical teams, and subject matter experts to define requirements, shape solutions, and support delivery across the project lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead requirements gathering and produce key BA documentation including Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, Target Operating Models, and Technical Design Overview documents.
  • Work with Compliance, Financial Crime, Business, and Technology stakeholders to define and validate solutions.
  • Analyse current processes and support future-state design.
  • Facilitate workshops and manage stakeholder relationships across the organisation.
  • Develop testing approaches, test plans, and test cases.
  • Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Analyse data, perform reconciliation activities, and support decision-making through insights.
  • Manage project documentation, risks, issues, and delivery updates.
  • Provide BA expertise across compliance systems, application upgrades, integrations, and governance processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
