About the Role

This is a hands-on, end-to-end BA role. You will need to get to grips quickly with complex pricing, quoting and lead-to-order processes, work closely with senior business and IT stakeholders, and turn those processes into detailed requirements that an offshore development team can deliver.

The role covers both business process analysis and detailed software delivery: from understanding the current operation and its pain points, through requirements and development, to UAT and Go-Live.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with senior business and IT stakeholders to understand and document complex CPQ, pricing, quoting and lead-to-order processes.
  • Map current and future-state processes, from L2 business process level down to L4 task and activity level where required.
  • Identify operational pain points, inefficiencies, risks and opportunities in existing processes.
  • Analyse business requirements and help decide what belongs in the current project phase or MVP.
  • Challenge requirements constructively, helping stakeholders weigh business value, priority, scope and feasibility.
  • Manage and negotiate scope, finding practical compromises and workable solutions.
  • Translate high-level requirements and process documentation into detailed functional requirements and specifications.
  • Write clear, developer-ready user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira or a similar tool.
  • Brief the offshore BA and development team on requirements and specifications, keeping ambiguity to a minimum.
  • Work closely with developers and technical stakeholders throughout delivery to clarify requirements and resolve questions.
  • Support backlog refinement and Agile or Scrum delivery activities where appropriate.
  • Facilitate SIT and UAT with business stakeholders and SMEs to validate delivered functionality.
  • Support defect identification, clarification and resolution throughout testing.
  • Support Go-Live readiness, deployment and post-deployment validation and smoke testing.
  • Maintain requirements traceability, keeping business and technical requirements aligned across the lifecycle.
  • Act as the key link between business stakeholders, IT, offshore delivery teams and project leadership.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
