Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Credit Technology team at TP ICAP.
This role is central to the ongoing evolution of our Credit platforms and technology estate. The successful candidate will work closely with brokers, desk assistants, Product Managers, Product Owners, architects, engineers, and senior business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, define solutions, and support delivery of both strategic change and day-to-day business priorities.
The role combines business analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement. Success requires a strong understanding of business workflows, the ability to investigate operational challenges, and the confidence to work across business and technology teams to deliver practical solutions. Acting as a bridge between business users and technology teams, you will help translate complex business needs into effective technology solutions while ensuring technology teams remain closely connected to user priorities and ways of working.
As Credit Technology embarks on a multi-year transformation programme, we are looking for an individual with curiosity, energy, and a desire to understand how the business operates. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable analysing business processes, investigating production issues, defining requirements, and helping shape future technology capabilities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
