Employment Type: 1-year Fixed Term Contract
Work Location: Hybrid (2 to 3 days per week on-site) at 6 Goods Yard Street, Manchester, M3 3BG, United Kingdom.
Visa / Work Authorization: New visa sponsorship is not provided; only visa transfers are accepted. Candidates must hold a valid ID and work permit for the UK (any nationality accepted).
Interview Process: 2 technical rounds, followed by a client round and a manager round.
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep expertise in Pega applications, Insurance, and Complaints Management within the European market for one of our client's to join their team on a 1 year fixed term contractual basis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of European insurance regulations, compliance requirements, and complaint handling frameworks. This role acts as the key liaison between business stakeholders, customer delivery teams, and internal delivery teams to ensure the successful delivery of compliant and scalable Pega solutions.
What You'll Do?
- Conduct discovery workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders, SMEs, and operational users.
- Analyze current business processes and define future-state processes for Insurance and Complaints Management.
- Act as the bridge between customer business teams, customer delivery teams, and internal delivery teams.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Own and manage requirements documentation, backlog refinement, and requirements traceability.
- Write high-quality Epics, Features, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria in JIRA.
- Drive backlog grooming, refinement sessions, sprint planning, and stakeholder workshops.
- Work closely with Pega Architects and Developers to design and deliver business solutions.
- Ensure business requirements align with European insurance regulations, complaint handling standards, and compliance obligations.
- Support SIT, UAT, business validation, and production rollout activities.
- Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Governance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.

- Experience Level: 8 to 13 years of total professional experience.
- Business Analysis: Minimum 8+ years of core Business Analysis experience.
- Pega Expertise: Minimum 5+ years of experience working on Pega-based implementations.
- Domain Knowledge: Proven experience in the Insurance and Complaints Management domains, with a strong understanding of European insurance organizations and regulatory environments.
- Core Skills: Pega Business Analyst expertise, Business Process Management (BPM), Pega Platform, backlog grooming & refinement, Agile/Scrum methodologies, UAT & business validation, alongside exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
- Certifications: Preferred Lead Business Architect certification.
- Availability: Immediate joiners or candidates on short notice are preferred.
