Overview
We are building an executive KPI reporting capability to give leadership a clear, consistent view of operational performance across key business processes. The model moves from headline executive measures through operational drivers to diagnostic detail, helping leaders understand performance, spot risk and take action. We're looking for a contract Senior Business Analyst with strong delivery coordination skills to define requirements, produce report specifications and wireframes, and support planning and stakeholder approvals across the programme.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead structured requirements gathering with business stakeholders, process owners, data teams and development teams, translating needs into clear business/functional requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Support definition of KPI measures, business rules, calculation logic and reporting dimensions, ensuring requirements are reviewed, approved and traceable through design, build, testing and acceptance.
- Create dashboard wireframes, mock-ups and report specifications spanning executive, operational and diagnostic reporting tiers, working with data and reporting teams to confirm feasibility and development approach.
- Support prioritisation of reporting scope and backlog items, and help define a report-to-action governance approach covering KPI ownership, RACI, reporting cadence, escalation routes and action tracking for business sign-off.
- Prepare and maintain core delivery artefacts (scope, plan, RAID log, stakeholder map, status updates) and coordinate delivery activity across business, data, reporting and development teams.
- Manage dependencies, risks, issues, approvals and decision points, and prepare clear stakeholder updates for governance meetings, steering discussions and approval forums.

Required Skills
- Proven senior business analysis experience in complex business/technology environments, with a strong understanding of reporting, analytics, KPI or dashboard solution delivery.
- Able to structure ambiguous business needs into clear, testable, prioritised requirements, balancing value, feasibility and delivery effort across business, data and technology teams.
- Practical delivery coordination experience on small-to-medium initiatives, with good working knowledge of planning, dependency management, RAID management and governance disciplines.
- Able to create structure, maintain momentum and secure decisions across cross-functional teams, with confidence preparing senior stakeholder-ready updates and decision materials.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement across senior business and technical audiences; pragmatic and outcome-focused, comfortable operating without full certainty upfront.
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with Power BI or similar reporting tools, and delivery management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira, sufficient to support requirements and delivery discussions.
- Experience in operational, service, logistics, manufacturing, field service, customer experience or back-office environments.
- Experience defining productivity, quality, timeliness, capacity, SLA, backlog or operational effectiveness measures, ideally on global or multi-region programmes.
Salary
450 - 500 GBP Per day
