About The Job
Job Summary
Technology Services provides technical infrastructure, and underlying technologies used directly by DWP colleagues and citizens every day. This foundation infrastructure also underpins all other Digital Services across DWP Digital. It does this through several discrete technical and infrastructure product areas each having full accountability for all aspects of their product area.
This role sits within DWP’s Digital Workspaces area. We provide the core technology that powers the Department’s Digital Workplace, supporting citizen-facing services and colleagues across government. You will join a multi-disciplinary team delivering specific solutions such as Digital Signage, Workplace and Job Centre innovation, and assistive technology solutions, although you may work across a number of infrastructure services such as Desktop or Identity, working with stakeholders to create reliable and innovative services that make a real difference.

Job Description
As a Senior BA working within the Technology Services directorate of DWP Digital, you will:
- Work on large, complex, infrastructure-based projects. Enabling the delivery of digital solutions to achieve strategic business outcomes.
- Be part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to the delivery of products, services, and solutions to colleagues, citizens, and other Government Departments.
- Lead workshops, interviews, and focus groups to effectively understand business problems and user needs across the entirety of the DWP estate.
- Collaborate with and communicate effectively across senior technical and business stakeholders, ensuring the understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria is aligned to our established Digital roadmaps, security standards, red lines, and strategy.
- Drive the business processes and activities that impact and that are impacted by the product, in alignment with the wider strategy of the department.
- Lead BA activities and initiatives and will champion continual learning & development within the BA community.
- Be a leading member of the BA community, taking on leadership and line management responsibilities, where required.
- Use your experience of delivery methodologies, translating business and user needs into deliverables working collaboratively to define and achieve value outcomes.
