Senior Business Analyst – Payments
Location: London – 2 days per week in the office
Our client, leaders in the payments industry, are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support significant change and transformation initiatives.
About the Role
As a Senior BA, you will understand the payments landscape and be comfortable operating across business, technology, and senior stakeholder groups.
You'll be working on medium to large-scale change programs, helping to shape problems into practical solutions, define requirements and outcomes, assess options, and support delivery from early-stage business cases through to testing and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
- Strong Business Analysis experience within payments
- A solid understanding of the UK payments landscape
- Experience working across both smaller projects and large, complex programs
- Strong requirements gathering, definition, and specification skills
- The ability to bridge business and technical requirements, working effectively with architects, developers, and other technical specialists
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, regulators, and industry participants
- A good understanding of payments-related regulation and compliance
- Someone who can challenge constructively, identify problems, and help shape the right solution rather than simply documenting requirements

What You'll Be Doing
You'll be joining a Change function working on initiatives that will help shape the future infrastructure and evolution of digital payments. This is not just a BA role maintaining the status quo.
