Position Overview

The position is limited to 12 months and can be filled in our EEX locations in Leipzig, London, or Paris.

Your Tasks

Join our Business System Analysis - 24/7 Trading team and help shape the ongoing development and transformation of our gas spot trading systems and their integration within the EEX application landscape. In this role, you will analyse business needs and translate them into clear functional and non-functional requirements, business rules, process models, and acceptance criteria. You will lead functional topics from initial clarification through implementation and validation, working closely with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Functional Analysts, Architects, Developers, and Quality Assurance teams.

Your responsibilities will cover trading functionality, order and trade processing, participant and reference data, trading APIs, regulatory reporting, and integration with upstream and downstream systems. You will facilitate workshops, consolidate requirements across stakeholders, evaluate solution options, and ensure consistent documentation and traceability. A significant part of your work will focus on end-to-end processes and data flows across the gas spot trading application chain, including the alignment of business concepts, interfaces, operational processes, and system dependencies.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
