French-Speaking Senior Business Analyst (Fluent French & English Essential)
Contract | 6 months | Up to £600/day (Outside IR35) | London – 2-3 days per week onsite
Fluent French is essential for this role. You’ll work day to day with French-speaking business stakeholders, IT teams and vendors, in writing and in meetings.
We’re partnering with a major international transport operator to hire a Senior Business Analyst for a 6-month contract in its change portfolio. You’ll own the analysis end to end: challenging how things work today, defining what good looks like, and seeing it through testing, go-live and handover to operations.
What You’ll Do
- Review and challenge existing business processes, identify inefficiencies and propose improved target processes
- Secure stakeholder commitment to target processes and RACI
- Elicit, analyse and document business requirements (user stories, use cases) in Confluence
- Translate validated requirements into detailed functional specifications
- Work with architects and developers to validate functional designs against requirements and architecture
- Define and run test strategies, write test cases, and support defect and root cause analysis through testing and post-implementation
- Model processes in Bizzdesign and contribute to the enterprise process repository
- Support transition to run, including documentation, knowledge transfer and end-user support
- Flag risks and issues to the project manager with proposed mitigations
- Coordinate across business, IT and external vendors, and report on requirements status, progress and risk
- Contribute detailed requirements input to backlog refinement and prioritisation
- Contribute to project closure and lessons learned

What You’ll Bring

- Fluent French and English, written and spoken (essential)
- 10+ years as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- A strong track record in both business and functional requirements engineering
- Experience in process modelling and improvement
- Experience in test planning, test case writing and validation
- Experience in business case preparation and analysis
- Delivery across Agile, Waterfall or hybrid lifecycles
- Experience working with solution architects, development teams and third-party vendors
- Confidence challenging business needs and existing processes with senior stakeholders
Nice to have
- Bizzdesign or similar enterprise modelling tools
- Experience in transport, travel or other large operational environments
