Hiring: Senior Transformation & Delivery Manager – Banking
Location: London / Sheffield UK (Hybrid)
Department: Change & Innovation
Role Type: 6 month contract
Are you an experienced Senior Business Analyst, Lead BA, or Delivery Manager who thrives on bridging the gap between deep strategic analysis and end-to-end execution?
We are looking for a Senior Transformation & Delivery Manager to join a leading UK financial institution dedicated to empowering economic development, supporting UK businesses, and helping drive key national initiatives like the transition to Net Zero.
In this high-impact, hands-on role, you will take full ownership of complex, cross-functional change initiatives—taking them from initial discovery, root-cause analysis, and scoping, right through to technical delivery, stakeholder adoption, and benefits realization.
Key Responsibilities
- Discovery & Scoping: Lead engagement with senior stakeholders to define business problems, outcomes, scope, and target operating model improvements across people, process, data, tech, and controls.
- End-to-End Delivery: Translate strategic objectives and analysis outputs into practical delivery plans using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.
- Requirements & Analysis Discipline: Produce high-quality documentation, including user stories, process maps, business rules, impact assessments, acceptance criteria, and traceability matrices.
- Stakeholder Influence: Work closely with the COO, Senior Leadership Team, Risk, Legal, Finance, Operations, and third-party vendors to drive alignment without relying on direct authority.
- Implementation & Adoption: Manage UAT, business readiness, training needs analysis, and change adoption activities to ensure solutions are embedded smoothly.
- Team Enablement & Governance: Support, coach, and review the work of junior team members while maintaining robust RAID logs and delivery reporting.

What We Are Looking For
- Proven Track Record: Extensive experience as a Senior Business Analyst, Lead BA, Delivery Manager, or hybrid Change Manager within complex financial services, banking, or regulated operating environments.
- Analysis + Delivery Hybrid: Proven ability to do the heavy lifting on root-cause analysis and requirements gathering, paired with the practical delivery skills to execute and embed change.
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of banking operating models, finance markets, or broad financial services environments.
- Delivery Agility: Hands-on experience facilitating sprint planning, backlog refinement, UAT, and steering committees across Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid setups.
- Tool Proficiency: Mastery of key tooling including Jira, Confluence, Visio, Miro, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Leadership & Influence: Excellent communication, senior stakeholder management, and informal coaching skills.

Desirable Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Management, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Relevant industry certifications in Business Analysis (BCS/IIBA), Agile (Scrum/SAFe), Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2), or Change Management.
