We are Hiring: Senior Business Analyst – IT & Digital Transformation

Location: Surrey (Hybrid – Reigate)

Contract: Interim

Rate: £650 per day (Inside IR35)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to lead the delivery of complex IT and digital transformation projects across the Orbis Partnership. You will work with senior stakeholders to analyse business requirements, design technology solutions, manage business change, and deliver enterprise system implementations that improve services across multiple local authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business analysis for major IT and digital transformation programmes.
  • Gather, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and business process mapping.
  • Develop business cases, solution options and feasibility assessments.
  • Support procurement, solution selection and systems implementation.
  • Coordinate system integrations, upgrades and business change activities.
  • Produce functional specifications, process documentation and UAT plans.
  • Manage multiple projects, risks, issues and delivery timelines.
  • Lead and mentor Business Analysts, promoting BCS best practice.
  • Work collaboratively with business users, technical teams and third-party suppliers.

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience delivering complex IT and digital transformation projects.
  • Strong background in enterprise business systems and business process analysis.
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders across large organisations.
  • Proven leadership and team management experience.
  • Public sector or local government experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • BCS Business Analysis qualification (desirable).
  • PRINCE2, Agile or equivalent project management certification (desirable).
