Senior Business Analyst – Supply Chain / WMS (Process Mapping & Financial Recon)
Location: Hybrid (2-3 days/week on-site in Magna Park, Lutterworth / 2 days remote for Phase 1; 100% Remote for Phase 2)
Contract Duration: 12 Weeks
IR35 Status: Inside IR35
Primark are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to deliver two critical, short-term process documentation initiatives across our distribution centre operations and finance functions.
The initial priority involves documenting "as-is" warehouse and order management processes from scratch down to Level 4 (L4 procedural level). The second phase will focus on mapping and standardising internal financial reconciliation workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Phase 1: Distribution Centre Process Mapping (Weeks 1–8)
- Lead on-site process discovery and workshop facilitation with operational teams (including third-party logistics partners) at Magna Park, Lutterworth.
- Build complete end-to-end "as-is" process flows down to Level 4 (L4) detail.
- Document interactions, data flows, controls, and system touchpoints across WMS and OMS platforms.
- Play back finalised process maps to key operational and senior stakeholders to establish an agreed baseline for future decision-making.

Phase 2: Financial Reconciliation Process Mapping (Weeks 9–12)
- Transition to a fully remote working model to analyse and document existing financial reconciliation workflows.
- Define key financial controls, reporting mechanisms, and operational dependencies.
- Present final procedural documentation and handover to internal finance stakeholders.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Proven BA Experience: Extensive background as a Senior Business Analyst delivering granular process mapping (L1–L4) from scratch.
- Domain Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Order Management Systems (OMS) within a logistics/distribution environment.
- On-Site Capability: Ability to be on-site at Magna Park (Lutterworth) 2-3 days per week during Phase 1 to drive stakeholder engagement.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional interpersonal skills with a proven track record of extracting operational details from busy operational teams.
- Tooling: Proficiency in process mapping and modelling tools (e.g., MS Visio, Lucidchart, Signavio, or ARIS).
