This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping and delivering complex digital and service transformation initiatives, working across the full delivery lifecycle from discovery and requirements gathering through to implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
You'll work at the heart of multidisciplinary product and delivery teams, helping ensure technology investments are aligned to genuine user needs and measurable business outcomes.
Role Overview
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will lead business analysis activities across the entire product and service lifecycle, helping teams understand problems, define solutions, and deliver meaningful outcomes.
You will work closely with stakeholders across business, product, architecture, engineering, user-centred design, data, testing, and delivery functions, acting as the bridge between operational needs and technical delivery.
This role requires someone who can confidently navigate ambiguity, challenge assumptions, facilitate discussions, and use evidence, data, and research to drive decision-making. You will help teams move beyond requirements gathering to truly understand services, users, processes, dependencies, and organisational impacts.
Key Responsibilities

- Map end-to-end services, business processes, customer journeys, and operational workflows
- Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process models, business rules, and functional specifications
- Support backlog management, refinement, prioritisation, and delivery readiness activities
- Work closely with Product Owners, Designers, Developers, Architects, and Testers to ensure solutions meet business objectives
- Analyse data, service performance, and operational insights to identify opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to option assessments, feasibility analysis, risk identification, and business impact evaluation
- Support acceptance testing, release readiness, and operational handover activities

- Champion continuous improvement and contribute to business analysis standards and best practices
- Explore and utilise AI-assisted tools to improve analysis, requirements gathering, and delivery outcomes

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
