Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

About the role

As the Senior Business Analyst dedicated to R&D, you will play a crucial role in analysing business needs, defining requirements, and implementing IT solutions that support R&D, Safety, Regulatory, and Quality functions. This role offers a unique opportunity to build a new function from the ground up, driving innovation and scalability to support Vestacy’s business strategy.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter, pragmatic and loves a challenge. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are action and result oriented.

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee the design and implementation of R&D, Safety, Regulatory, and Quality technologies such as Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Digital Simulation, Consumer Safety, Labelling, and Quality Management.
  • Implement Quality Management systems to maintain high standards of product performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the R&D, Quality, and Regulatory teams.
  • Conduct business analysis to understand and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical specifications and solutions.
  • Ensure that IT&D solutions meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.

The experience we're looking for

This opportunity requires you to create something new, not to upgrade or transform something existing. No one will tell you how to do it, so you will bring vision and thought leadership, while being pragmatic in the implementation.

  • Must have experience with the product development lifecycle - supporting or improving product development, change management, and/or product launch processes.
  • Previous experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (or earlier Microsoft Dynamics platforms) in support of enterprise or R&D‑related processes.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset: self-starter with a high sense of ownership and accountability.
  • You are collaborative and build bridges internally and externally.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT&D function, with a focus on business analysis.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and product development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
