Senior Business Analyst, Strategic Transformation
You will be joining the Chief Business Office team, which shapes and delivers Allianz Commercial’s strategic priority portfolio of change, reporting into the Chief Business Officer of the company. Together we lead and support global business transformation.
The Impact You Will Have
In this position, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving the AZ Commercial operating model, ensuring a globally consistent approach to business transformation. By driving further standardization and fostering collaboration across business functions and transformation teams, you will enable synergies and alignment with the overall business strategy. Your work will involve identifying anomalies that require intervention, responding with appropriate actions and mitigations, and ensuring that improvements are effectively monitored. Through strong stakeholder management and alignment with senior stakeholders, you will ensure delivery excellence and contribute to the success of AZ Commercial’s transformation journey.

- Deliver analysis, consultancy, and support to drive the standardization and evolution of the Commercial operating model as part of board-approved projects and initiatives.
- Ensure high-quality outcomes, delivered on time and within budget, by understanding customer needs and applying a rigorous, methodical approach aligned with strategic priorities.
- Steer cross-functional transformation teams to ensure delivery excellence, breaking down silos and fostering integrated ways of working.
- Drive the adoption of new operating models, technologies, and processes. Identify anomalies that require intervention, respond with appropriate actions and mitigations, and monitor improvements.
- Act as a key communicator and change ambassador, engaging with senior stakeholders to align on transformation goals and outcomes.
- Foster transparency and trust throughout the transformation journey, ensuring alignment and collaboration at all levels.
What You’ll Bring to the Role
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field preferred
- Expertise in breaking down complex subjects, identifying business requirements, and defining actionable targets
- Proven ability to manage projects of varying complexity, including large-scale initiatives; line management experience preferred
- Advanced skills in change management, stakeholder engagement, and communication, with experience in the insurance industry
- Strong consulting skills, including relationship management, business case development, and facilitation, with cross-cultural and international work experience
- Experience in applying artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) to improve business processes and decision-making is highly beneficial
- Advanced communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in inquiry, constructive feedback, and conflict resolution
- Advanced cross-cultural and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in diverse environments
- Intermediate leadership and decision-making skills to guide teams and drive impactful outcomes
- Fluent English skills
