Seeking a Senior Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience in with strong Insurance domain expertise to independently drive business analysis activities across insurance transformation initiatives
Job Description
The Senior Business Analyst will act as a domain SME and solution partner working across business and IT stakeholders to support the delivery of insurance solutions spanning policy administration claims underwriting billing and customer servicing the role involves end to end ownership of the requirement lifecycle active participation in Agile delivery and contribution to process optimization regulatory alignment and digital transformation initiatives within the insurance landscape

Primary skills:
- Senior Business Analyst with 10 years of experience in PC insurance domain
- Deep understanding of PC lifecycle in Underwriting area
- Proven experience in working with SAFe teams to translate business needs into valuable implementable solutions
- Ability to support Product Owner in refining the stories requirement clarifications
- Develop acceptance criteria and execute quality assurance responsibilities
- Experience with Scaled Agile JIRA Confluence
- Experience in working on Insurance domain transformation rewrite programs as a BA
- Conceptual knowledge of core AWS services

Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as a lead Business Analyst and Insurance domain subject matter expert across Life PC or Health Insurance initiatives
- Own end-to-end requirements management including elicitation analysis documentation validation and signoff
- Perform current state Asis and future state to be process analysis identifying gaps risks and improvement opportunities
- Translate business needs into BRDs FRDs epics user stories acceptance criteria and process flows
- Collaborate with Architects Technical Leads and Developers to ensure functional alignment with solution design
- Support Agile Scrum delivery through backlog refinement sprint planning and story elaboration
- Lead and facilitate stakeholder workshops requirement walkthroughs and solution reviews
- Perform impact analysis for enhancements regulatory changes and production issues
- Support UAT planning and execution including test scenario validation defect triage and business signoff
- Act as the primary liaison between business stake holders’ clients and delivery teams
- Prepare executive level summaries decision documents and status updates
- Mentor junior Business Analysts and contribute to BA standards templates and governance practices
