🚨 Urgent Hiring | Business Analyst – Pega | Permanent | Reading, UK | SC Cleared
We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst with Pega experience to join us on a permanent basis in Reading, UK.
What you’ll be doing:
Required Skills:
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements.
- Lead workshops to define current and future state (As-Is/To-Be) business processes for complex transformation initiatives.
- Work closely with Pega architects, developers, UX/UI designers, and technical teams to deliver scalable business solutions.
- Drive business process re-engineering as part of large-scale business transformation and data modernisation programmes.
- Analyse data flows, ETL processes, cloud architectures, and system integrations to support solution design.
- Contribute to monetary policy and time series data analysis within the banking and financial services domain.
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, business process models, and functional documentation.
- Support User-Centred Design (UCD) activities to ensure solutions meet business and end-user needs.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, manage the product backlog, and work with tools such as JIRA.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement, providing innovative recommendations.
- Mentor junior Business Analysts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure all solutions comply with banking regulations, governance standards, and business objectives.

Essential Requirements:
- âś… Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
- âś… Proven Business Analyst experience
- âś… Experience working on Pega projects
- âś… Strong stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills
- âś… Agile/Scrum experience
- 📍 Location: Reading, UK (Hybrid)

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Business Analyst, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects within the banking and financial services sector.
- Hands-on Pega experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, financial regulations, business processes, and technologies.
- Experience in monetary policy analysis and time series database analysis.
- Proven experience delivering large-scale business transformation and process re-engineering programmes.
- Strong understanding of User-Centred Design (UCD), UI development, ETL processes, data flow analysis, cloud architecture, and data modernisation/transformation initiatives.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to define innovative To-Be business processes.
- Outstanding stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
- Experience working in Agile environments, with hands-on use of JIRA.
- Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver successful outcomes.

Location: Remote but Some travel to Manchester 2-3 times in a months
