Business Analyst Opportunity

We’re supporting a growing organisation looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join its expanding Business Analysis practice.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys getting to the heart of a problem, asking the right questions, working through ambiguity and helping clients define solutions that deliver real value.

What you’ll be doing

  • Play a key role in helping clients understand the problems they’re trying to solve and shaping the right approach to analysis.
  • Work across business change and software development initiatives, adapting your approach to suit the situation.
  • Contribute to the development of the wider Business Analysis practice, sharing ideas, keeping up with industry developments and supporting the growth of other analysts.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong experience applying industry-standard Business Analysis techniques across business change and software development lifecycles.
  • Experience working through discovery, ambiguity and problem definition to establish scope, requirements and backlogs.
  • Ability to ensure business requirements support the overall business case and solution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage at all levels.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to turn complex ideas into clear, engaging narratives.
  • Commercial awareness, with an understanding of value, scope and requirements when making recommendations.
  • A naturally inquisitive mindset and the ability to challenge, collaborate, shape ideas and solve problems creatively.
  • Experience leading, mentoring or supporting other Business Analysts would be highly beneficial.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
