Senior Business Change Lead (Grade 11)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Change Lead (Grade 11) to join our Business Analysis and Change Practice team on a permanent basis. This role is central to delivering successful business change across Elexon’s strategic programmes, ensuring colleagues and stakeholders are ready to adopt new processes, technologies and ways of working.

You’ll play a key role in leading end-to-end business change activities across complex transformation programmes, from developing change strategies and assessing impacts through to business readiness, communications, training and embedding change into business-as-usual. Working closely with programme teams, business leaders and industry stakeholders, you’ll help maximise adoption, realise business benefits, and support the delivery of change that underpins the future of Great Britain’s electricity market and the transition to Net Zero.

What you’ll do:

As a Senior Business Change Lead, you’ll lead business change activity across major transformation programmes, ensuring change is effectively planned, delivered and embedded across Elexon.

  • Lead the Business Change workstream across complex programmes and strategic initiatives.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies that align with programme objectives and organisational priorities.
  • Conduct change impact assessments, identifying business, process and people impacts and defining effective change interventions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Executive Sponsors, Programme Managers, Product Owners, Service Owners and other key stakeholders to drive successful outcomes.
  • Create and deliver business readiness plans, ensuring the organisation is prepared to adopt new ways of working.
  • Lead communications planning and stakeholder engagement activities, delivering clear, consistent messaging across programmes.
  • Design and oversee training strategies, coordinating the development and delivery of learning materials and business readiness activities.
  • Establish and lead Change Champion networks, workshops and engagement sessions to support adoption and embed change.
  • Define success measures, monitor adoption and benefits realisation, and support post-go-live stabilisation and continuous improvement.
  • Coach and mentor Business Change colleagues while championing best practice across the Business Analysis and Change Practice.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
