Senior Business Change Manager

Day rate outside IR35 £500pd
3-6 month contract
London/hybrid
Immediate start

Altum Consulting is partnering with one of the UK's best loved charities to find a Senior Business Change Manager. They will be responsible for coordinating and embedding change across the organisation's cyber security, data and AI programmes, ensuring a cohesive approach to delivering shared outcomes and organisational behavioural change. The role leads the identification, assessment and management of people, process and technology impacts, developing and implementing change strategies that enable successful adoption, organisational readiness and the sustainable embedding of new ways of working across the charity.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Define, develop and deliver a shared change management plan, in line with collective outcomes.
  • Conduct robust change impact and readiness assessments, assessing the current landscape.
  • Create persona groups to inform change planning across the organisation.
  • Design the required change management interventions required to successfully embed the changes, working closely with each programme, and with specific attention to people, mindset and culture change.
  • Prepare the organisation for the changes ahead, working with members of the programme teams to evaluate and iterate the change plan through delivery.
  • Influencing key senior stakeholders at all levels across the charity, supporting them in their roles and responsibilities to drive behaviour change in support of the change management plan.
  • Driving the consistent application of Prosci® ADKAR methodology throughout the change lifecycle, to deliver a best practice approach to change management.
  • Enable the handover of plans and capability, support the transition into Business As Usual and move towards continuous improvement.

  • Significant experience of delivering data and technology change in organisation-wide transformation programmes.
  • Extensive experience leading the development, delivery, evaluation and iteration of change management plans that has led to successful adoption of changes within a large organisation.
  • Demonstrable expert knowledge and experience of applying business change principles, frameworks, tools, and techniques to achieve required outcomes and benefits.
  • Significant stakeholder engagement and influencing experience at all levels, with the ability to establish credibility and gain buy in to make change happen.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information simply to a variety of audiences at all levels.
  • Confident in navigating organisational complexity, specifically within data and technology delivery and how this links to and depends on broader business transformation programmes.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills, and a high awareness of the project and programme context and discipline. Fully competent at planning, risk management, and dependency-management.
  • Experience working with external partners to deliver change.
