Are you looking to grow your consulting career while working on complex and meaningful transformation programmes that really matter?
We are expanding Consulting with Aerospace, Defence and Security (ADS) is expanding its Business and Transformation capability, and we are looking for a Business Change Consultant to join our growing team. You will work across Aerospace, Defence and Secure environments, including Policing, supporting programmes that deliver real operational and digital change.
You will be part of a collaborative and supportive consulting practice, working closely with clients and colleagues to embed change, strengthen delivery control and realise lasting benefits. This is a great opportunity to develop your experience across business change and Project Management Office (PMO) activities, while contributing to work that supports critical UK services.
This role requires hybrid working, with a minimum of three days per week on client site near Chippenham, Wiltshire (Corsham area). Due to the nature of the work, MOD DV clearance is essential.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting the delivery of business change activities across transformation, digital and operational improvement programmes.
- Assessing change impacts, partners needs, business readiness and adoption risks within complex client environments.
- Producing high-quality change deliverables such as stakeholder maps, impact assessments, communications and engagement plans, and training support materials.
- Supporting PMO activities including planning support, RAID management, reporting, governance coordination and dependency tracking.
- Producing clear and accurate status reports, dashboards, meeting packs and governance materials for project and programme leadership.
- Contributing to workshops, analysis, continuous improvement and business development activity, including proposal support.

What you’ll bring:
- Experience supporting business change, transformation, organisational change or adoption activity within project or programme environments.
- Experience working in a PMO, project support or programme support role, with a good understanding of governance, reporting and delivery controls.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Confidence engaging with partners across delivery teams and client organisations, including senior stakeholders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience producing clear, professional client-facing materials.
- Experience working in agile, waterfall or hybrid delivery environments.
It would be great if you had:
- Experience delivering consulting services within Aerospace, Defence, Secure or wider public sector environments.
- Experience working within Defence Digital or CIS within Defence.
- A business change qualification such as APMG or Prosci.
- A project management qualification such as PRINCE2 Practitioner or APM PMQ.
- Experience supporting bids, proposals or identifying follow-on consulting opportunities.
- Experience coaching or supporting less experienced consultants.
