Senior Business Consultant – Digital Commerce
£50-75k
Remote-first (UK Wide), with co-working hubs in Belfast and London

About the Company
My client is a cloud-native digital consultancy of around 50 people. They deliver engineering, composable commerce solutions and data-driven digital experiences for major retail and consumer brands. The team is highly experienced, remote-first and growing.
Role Overview
As a Senior Business Consultant, you will shape and deliver clients' digital commerce initiatives. You'll sit between business stakeholders and engineering, turning complex commercial challenges into clear roadmaps, backlogs and user stories. This is a senior, client-facing role for someone with real digital commerce experience from a consulting background.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead client meetings and workshops to capture functional and non-functional requirements
- Translate business requirements into capability roadmaps, product backlogs, epics and user stories
- Guide clients on business capability models and operational processes, drawing on commerce best practice
- Prepare user stories with engineering, QA, project managers and client product owners
- Work with UX and UI teams to shape customer journeys and user interactions
- Produce artefacts that guide development and serve as lasting client resources
- Contribute to and refine the company's internal delivery accelerator
- Own sprint deliverables independently across concurrent projects
What You'll Need
Essential
- 5+ years in a professional consulting environment, including 3+ years in digital commerce as a customer-facing BA
- Experience with tier 1 enterprise clients in agile delivery environments
- Strong requirements gathering, user story writing and backlog management

Desirable
- Experience with MACH/composable architecture
- Working knowledge of CMS, DAM, PIM, order management, payments or fulfilment
- Omni-channel commerce experience
