Are you an experienced consultant who enjoys working independently with clients to solve complex business challenges and shape technology-driven transformation?
We're looking for a Business Consultant – Technology Advisory to join our Strategic Digital Solutions consulting team at Sopra Steria. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has already built strong consulting, advisory, business transformation or technology delivery experience and is ready to take ownership of client engagements and advisory workstreams.
In this role, you'll work closely with clients to understand business priorities, develop strategic recommendations and support transformation planning across a range of technology domains including Cloud, Data and Artificial Intelligence, Automation, ServiceNow and Salesforce. You'll be trusted to manage your own work, lead workshops and discovery activities, and deliver high-quality consulting outputs with minimal supervision. You'll also contribute to innovation initiatives, helping clients understand how emerging technologies can create practical business value and support their long-term objectives.

This is a hybrid role. You must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance. Travel to client sites will be required when needed and is driven by client demand and project requirements, therefore travel expectations may fluctuate throughout the year.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading defined workstreams within business consulting and technology advisory engagements.
- Facilitating workshops, stakeholder discussions and discovery activities to understand client challenges and opportunities.
- Developing technology strategies, transformation roadmaps, assessments and client recommendations.
- Producing high-quality presentations, reports, options papers and other client-facing deliverables.
- Researching emerging technologies, innovation opportunities and market trends to inform client outcomes.
- Supporting business development activities and contributing to the growth of the Technology Advisory practice.

What you'll bring:
- Experience delivering consulting, advisory, transformation or technology-focused engagements.
- The ability to work independently, manage priorities and deliver outcomes with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex issues into practical recommendations.
- Experience leading workshops, stakeholder engagement activities and discovery sessions.
- Experience producing high-quality client-facing deliverables, including presentations, reports and strategic recommendations.
- A strong interest in technology, innovation and digital transformation.
It would be great if you had:
- Exposure to enterprise transformation, technology strategy or digital transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of cloud, data, Artificial Intelligence, automation or enterprise technology landscapes.
- Understanding of enterprise architecture, business architecture or architecture-led transformation.

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Location: Anywhere in the UK (client travel required).
Security Clearance Level: Security Check (SC) eligible.

Salary: £52,000 - £65,000 per annum.
Benefits: 25 days annual leave with the choice to buy additional days, health cash plan, life assurance, and pension.
