As part of BA Wind, you will contribute to one of the industry's most exciting development pipelines, with 24 GW of planned capacity across key European markets. You will not only support financial performance, but also help enable innovation, new business models and sustainable growth.

Your role

As Senior Business Controller, you will strengthen and further develop the reporting, planning and performance management processes within BA Wind. Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business and Group functions, you will provide high-quality financial information, challenge assumptions and support strategic decision-making.

This role offers a unique opportunity to influence how financial performance is measured, reported and improved across a dynamic and rapidly growing business.

Your key responsibilities

  • Coordinate and continuously improve BA Wind's planning and control framework.
  • Lead and coordinate performance management, business planning and forecasting activities.
  • Manage the monthly reporting and forecasting process across BA Wind.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles and financial governance requirements.
  • Safeguard the integrity and reconciliation of financial data across systems and reporting platforms.
  • Prepare management reporting, performance reviews and Business Performance Meeting materials.
  • Develop reporting templates, timelines and performance dashboards.
  • Maintain and further develop KPIs, scorecards and target management frameworks.
  • Translate financial results and trends into meaningful business insights.
  • Define and improve controlling requirements for financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Drive process improvements and contribute to the development of future ways of working within Finance.

You combine strong financial expertise with the ability to communicate complex topics in a clear and approachable way. You enjoy collaborating with stakeholders across disciplines and are motivated by improving processes, systems and business performance.

Qualifications

We believe you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Controlling or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience within finance, controlling or performance management.
  • Experience leading planning, reporting and forecasting processes in a complex organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of management reporting, budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Experience working with multiple financial systems and large data sets.
  • Advanced skills in IBM TM1, Cognos Controller, Power BI and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial governance.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience within the energy sector, renewables or infrastructure is considered an advantage.
