Business Development Manager Mobility | Automotive | Motorsport | Advanced Manufacturing

We are partnered with a leading advanced manufacturing and engineering solutions provider supporting some of the most innovative companies across the automotive, mobility, motorsport, aerospace and industrial sectors.

With expertise spanning both polymer and metal manufacturing technologies, including additive manufacturing (AM), the business helps customers accelerate product development, optimise production, and bring cutting-edge engineered products to market.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to develop new business opportunities while growing key customer relationships across the mobility sector.

The Opportunity

This is a strategic, customer-facing role focused on identifying, developing and managing relationships with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, motorsport organisations and innovative mobility businesses.

  • Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to understand customer challenges and deliver advanced manufacturing solutions that create real value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to win new business within mobility, automotive and motorsport sectors.
  • Build and manage long-term relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities across polymer, metal and additive manufacturing solutions.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and account growth.
  • Work closely with technical teams to develop tailored customer solutions.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies.
  • Deliver revenue growth and achieve agreed sales targets.

About You

  • Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales or Account Management role.
  • Strong network and experience within the mobility, automotive or motorsport sectors.
  • Exposure to polymer manufacturing, metal manufacturing, machining or additive manufacturing technologies.
  • Comfortable engaging with both technical and commercial stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
  • Self-motivated, commercially minded and driven by achieving results.
