Our Client

Our client, a highly regarded law firm specialising in the media and creative industries, is seeking an experienced Senior BD & Marketing Executive to join its London team on a fixed-term contract.

Our client is a leading UK law firm with an established reputation within the media and creative industries. The firm advises a diverse client base across the sector, supporting clients with their commercial and creative objectives.

The firm offers a collaborative and inclusive working environment, with a strong emphasis on ensuring its people feel valued and supported.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BD and Marketing professional to play a key role in supporting the firm's wider growth and client development initiatives.

Reporting directly to the Head of BD & Marketing and working as part of a team of three, the successful candidate will work closely with Partners, lawyers and other senior stakeholders across a varied mix of business development, events and marketing activity.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Working closely with Partners and fee earners to coordinate and progress ongoing client development and BD initiatives
  • Supporting the production and delivery of pitch materials, capability statements and other client-facing documents
  • Taking responsibility for keeping internal client and business development data accurate and up to date
  • Coordinating the end-to-end delivery of client-facing events, seminars and other firm initiatives
  • Liaising with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth delivery of events
  • Managing event communications, including guest lists, invitations, responses and attendee information
  • Reviewing event outcomes and coordinating relevant follow-up activity following completion
  • Assisting with the firm's digital marketing activity, including the distribution and promotion of content
  • Maintaining and refreshing content across the firm's website and social media platforms
  • Creating and updating presentations, promotional materials and other marketing collateral
  • Developing effective relationships across the business and providing responsive BD and Marketing support to senior stakeholders

Requirements

  • Previous experience within a Business Development and/or Marketing role
  • Experience working within a legal or professional services environment
  • Experience with Vuture/Canva or similar marketing platforms would be advantageous
