A global CDMO with operations across Europe and the US is looking to appoint a Senior Business Development Executive to drive growth across its Clinical Trial Supplies business throughout the UK & Ireland.

This is an opportunity to join a high-performing commercial team within a business that continues to invest heavily in its capabilities, supporting pharmaceutical and biotech companies with end-to-end clinical trial supply solutions.

You'll inherit an established territory with significant existing relationships while also identifying and winning new business across the Clinical Trial Supplies portfolio.

The Opportunity

As part of the commercial team, you will:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan across the UK & Ireland.
  • Generate new business opportunities while expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close.
  • Build long-term partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
  • Work collaboratively with operational, technical and project teams to develop tailored Clinical Trial Supplies solutions.
  • Represent the business at industry conferences and networking events.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM, delivering against agreed revenue targets.

What We're Looking For

You'll ideally bring:

  • Proven business development or sales experience within Clinical Trial Supplies, a CDMO or CRO environment.
  • Experience selling complex clinical trial supply solutions or related pharmaceutical services.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach with a genuine passion for winning new business.
  • Knowledge of GMP, GDP and the clinical trial supply environment would be advantageous.
