We are recruiting for a Senior Business Development Executive to join an established and forward-thinking logistics company in St Albans.

Working in a team of 5, the successful candidate will proactively develop new business and build and nurture existing client relationships to maximise the potential.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a level of 100+ targeted new business calls per week.
- Build strong personal relationships with new and existing clients
- Negotiate with clients and suppliers
- Submit quotes, overcome objections and devise conversion strategies to win business.
- Account management.
- Attend a weekly sales meeting
- Assist with Company marketing projects, for example LinkedIn posts, marketing literature, e-shots
- Some travel around Europe twice a month once established in the role
What The Client Is Looking For
- Proven Business to Business (B2B) sales experience.
- A friendly, engaging telephone manner.
- Excellent IT Skills, especially Excel.
- An energetic, enthusiastic personality.
- The ability to work to deadlines.
- Show Innovation and problem solving skills.
- Strong negotiating ability.
- Possess excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work with and support their colleagues.
- A positive attitude and desire to succeed.
