We are working with a leading law firm that is looking to recruit a Senior Business Development Executive to join its Birmingham-based Business Development & Marketing team.

This is a broad and varied role offering plenty of autonomy and the opportunity to work closely with Partners and fee-earners across the firm.

The role will include:

  • Supporting and leading Business Development and Marketing plans
  • Working closely with Partners and fee-earners to identify new opportunities
  • Managing pitches, campaigns, events and conferences
  • Supporting client development and cross-selling initiatives
  • Conducting client, competitor and market research
  • Supporting directory and award submissions
  • Tracking and reporting on new business opportunities
  • Helping develop thought leadership and marketing campaigns

We are looking for:

  • Ideally 3–5 years' experience within a Marketing and Business Development environment at Executive level
  • Previous experience within professional services, ideally a law firm
  • Confidence working directly with senior stakeholders, Partners and fee-earners
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A proactive, commercial and collaborative approach

Working pattern: Hybrid – minimum two days per week in the office

This is a great opportunity for an experienced BD Executive looking to take on more responsibility and work across the full Business Development and Marketing mix.
