Mangopay

Mangopay is a wallet-based payment infrastructure built specifically for organisations with complex, multi-party fund flows. A pioneer in multi-party payments. Our solution optimises fund flows on behalf of the organisations we work with using wallets as programmable, composable building blocks. Mangopay’s regulated platform collects payments, secures transactions and holds funds, splits money between the various parties in the funds flow, and ultimately manages the payout to service providers, sellers, and consumers.

Platforms and fintechs using Mangopay regain control and transparency over multi-party payment flows, generate additional revenue, and improve operational efficiency. They can stay compliant while innovating and scaling.

Job Description

We’re looking for an exceptional enterprise sales hunter to help build the next stage of Mangopay’s growth across Europe. This is a high-impact individual contributor role for someone who enjoys winning complex, strategic deals and wants real ownership of their market.

You’ll sell into some of Europe’s most ambitious marketplaces and platforms, working directly with founders, C-level executives and senior payments, product and finance leaders. Deals are sophisticated, multi-stakeholder and typically involve solving meaningful commercial, operational and payments challenges.

You’ll own the entire journey: identifying the right companies, creating opportunities, running deep discovery, building the business case, navigating complex buying committees, negotiating commercial terms and ultimately getting customers live.

This isn’t a role where you inherit a full diary of inbound leads. We’re looking for someone who knows how to create demand, build pipeline and close.

Reporting to the Regional Head of Sales, you’ll also have a meaningful voice in how we build our European sales strategy.

What you’ll own

  • Build and close strategic new business
  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle from first engagement through contract signature and go-live.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of strategic opportunities.
  • Create your own opportunities through highly targeted, thoughtful outbound prospecting.
  • Run sophisticated discovery with merchants to uncover commercial, operational and payments pain points.
  • Build compelling solutions and business cases that demonstrate clear commercial value.
  • Navigate complex organisations and build relationships across C-level, payments, product, finance, operations and technical teams.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and drive opportunities to a successful close.
  • Partner closely with Solutions Engineering, Product, Legal, Compliance, Marketing and Customer Success throughout the sales process.
  • Maintain exceptional pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy and CRM hygiene.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Become a payments and marketplace expert

Our strongest salespeople don’t simply sell a product. They understand the customer’s business and become trusted advisors. You will:

  • Develop deep expertise in payments, marketplaces and platform business models.
  • Understand the economics, operational challenges and regulatory complexity facing our customers.
  • Educate prospective customers on the evolving payments landscape.
  • Identify emerging verticals and strategic segments and become the internal expert on them.
  • Bring market intelligence back into Mangopay to influence product, positioning and go-to-market strategy.

Help shape the market

You’ll operate as more than an individual seller.

You’ll work closely with the Regional Head of Sales to:

  • Identify the most attractive segments, accounts and opportunities in your territory.
  • Understand competitors, new entrants, market trends and changing customer requirements.
  • Improve how we prospect, qualify, position and sell.
  • Help build a repeatable, scalable enterprise sales motion across Europe.

What success looks like

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

  • Consistently create your own pipeline rather than waiting for opportunities to arrive.
  • Enjoy pursuing large, complex deals that can take 6–9+ months to close.
  • Are comfortable engaging senior executives and challenging customers’ thinking.
  • Know how to qualify hard, prioritise ruthlessly and maintain control of complex sales processes.
  • Combine commercial aggression with strong discovery and consultative selling.
  • Take ownership of your number and don’t need to be micromanaged.
  • Are intellectually curious and want to understand how your customers actually make money.
  • Want to help build a market, not simply inherit a territory.
