The Opportunity
This firm is seeking a Senior Business Development Executive to play a pivotal role in their Housing and Living Division - a sector that is growing rapidly in the UK and where this firm has an incredibly strong footprint. The successful candidate will work closely with the Business Development Manager to support BD, marketing, and client development activities. This national role offers a chance to shape strategic business plans, develop client relationships, and drive ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Support the creation and implementation of business plans for Living and Housing MFGs.
- Client Development: Actively engage in client account teams to retain and grow core clients, conduct client review meetings, and support client feedback activities.
- Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute compelling marketing campaigns across various channels (email, web, social media, events, PR).
- Event Management: Plan and deliver an annual program of events and sponsorships, both in-person and online.
- Content Creation: Produce engaging client publications and thought leadership content in various formats (text, video, audio, infographics).
- Relationship Building: Foster relationships with key market intermediaries, regulators, and membership organizations.
- Bid Support: Assist the Bids Team in responding to formal bids within the MFGs.
- Framework Compliance: Work with legal frameworks to meet obligations, prepare for reviews, and deliver management information reports.
- Budget Management: Report on BD budgets, ensuring maximum ROI from all activities.
- CRM Utilization: Leverage the firm's CRM systems, Peppermint CRM and Introhive, to support BD, marketing, and client development activities.

Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in BD/marketing within a professional services environment
- Knowledge of the Living (hotels etc) or the Housing market is advantageous, but not essential
- Proven track record in enhancing an organization’s profile and reputation through marketing events, communications, and campaigns
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and results-oriented
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, CRM systems, and financial software/reports
- Degree or equivalent professional work experience
Hybrid Working
The firm offers flexibility with hybrid working arrangements. Candidates must be within a commutable distance of one of the offices and be prepared to travel occasionally to other locations.
