Unify are proud to be working with a leading UK space technology and innovation organisation, to find a Senior Business Development Manager specialising in Telecommunications and Digital Technology.
This is a senior, market-facing role focused on driving growth across the UK space sector. You will use your established network across telecommunications and digital technology to identify, shape and secure high-value opportunities, working closely with industry, government and internal technical teams.
The Role
- Own and deliver the Telecommunications and Digital Technology sales strategy and annual revenue target.
- Develop senior relationships across industry, government and the wider technology ecosystem.
- Identify, shape and close complex, high-value opportunities, typically involving 12-24 month sales cycles.
- Lead customer presentations, proposals, commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
- Work with technical, commercial and bid teams to develop and win opportunities.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasting and market intelligence.
- Represent the organisation at key industry events, with regular customer travel, typically 2-3 days per week.
- Support and mentor other members of the business development team.

About You
- Significant senior BD, sales or commercial experience within telecommunications, digital technology or a related technology sector.
- Strong existing network across the telecoms and digital technology market.
- Proven track record of securing high-value contracts and delivering against sales targets.
- Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate complex technical solutions into compelling commercial propositions.
- Understanding of the space sector or satellite applications is highly desirable.
- Experience working with Government, regulators or major industry stakeholders would be advantageous.
