About The Role

Are you a proven new business professional with experience in the renewable energy sector and the drive to open doors, build relationships and win work?

At First Response Group (FRG), this is more than a traditional Business Development role. It is an opportunity to play a key part in our continued growth within the renewable energy sector, developing new client relationships and securing new business across our security, risk management and facilities solutions.

We are looking for a commercially driven, proactive and ambitious Senior Business Development Manager to take ownership of generating and converting new business opportunities across the UK renewable energy market.

This is a pure new business role – not account management – and will suit someone who understands the renewables sector, has an established network or strong knowledge of the market, and thrives on identifying prospects, creating opportunities, building a strong pipeline and turning conversations into long-term client relationships.

First Response Group is not just a workplace. It is a vibrant community where passion fuels our excellence, integrity guides our conduct, empowerment shapes our successes, and a sense of community binds us together. FRG is a dynamic and forward-thinking provider of security, risk management and facilities solutions.

We distinguish ourselves through the integration of cutting-edge technology, a commitment to employee development, and a culture rooted in inclusivity and positivity. At FRG, every team member’s contribution is valued, and collective success is celebrated.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Construction & Infrastructure, the Senior Business Development Manager will focus on developing new business opportunities within the renewable energy sector across the UK.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
