Senior Business Development Manager

Join a fast-scaling cyber security SaaS business helping organisations strengthen their security culture and reduce human-led risk. You’ll play a key role in driving new business, building relationships with senior technology leaders and contributing directly to the company’s next stage of growth.

Role Overview

  • Location: Leeds/Hybrid. (3 days per week in the office / 2 days remote)
  • Package: £37,000- £45,000 per annum + uncapped commission (paid monthly).
  • Industry: Cyber Security / SaaS

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and manage your own new business pipeline through outbound calling, LinkedIn, email and sales technology.
  • Lead consultative conversations with senior IT and information security decision-makers, uncovering their challenges and demonstrating relevant solutions.
  • Manage the full sales process from initial engagement and discovery through to negotiation, close and handover.
  • Work towards quarterly revenue targets while maintaining accurate forecasting and a healthy pipeline.
  • Partner with SDRs, marketing and channel teams to improve lead quality, conversion rates and overall territory performance.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations tailored to each prospect’s priorities and business challenges.

Main Skills Needed

  • Minimum of 3 years of end to end sales experience, with a track record of generating and closing your own opportunities.
  • Strong outbound prospecting skills across telephone, LinkedIn, email and other digital channels.
  • Background in SAAS, Cyber Security, Education Technology, LMS or CRM would be preferred.
  • Track record managing a full sales cycle and engaging senior technical stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation and discovery skills, with the ability to understand customer needs and influence decisions.
  • A commercially driven mindset with the resilience and consistency needed to deliver against targets.
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to learn, take feedback and continuously improve.
