About the Role

At RAC Connected, we're helping businesses unlock the power of connected vehicle technology. As our Senior New Business Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying, developing and securing new business opportunities across SME, Mid-Market and Enterprise customers.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Identifying and winning new business opportunities across SME, Mid-Market and Enterprise fleets
  • Managing the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and contract award
  • Building and executing strategic account and territory development plans
  • Engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, including operational, commercial and executive decision-makers
  • Delivering compelling customer presentations, demonstrations and commercial proposals
  • Leading tender, procurement and RFP opportunities
  • Developing strong, long-term customer relationships that drive retention and growth
  • Working closely with Product, Marketing, Sales Leadership and Operations teams to maximise commercial outcomes
  • Maintaining an accurate pipeline and forecast through HubSpot CRM
  • Representing RAC Connected at customer events, industry forums and networking opportunities

What We're Looking For

You'll be an experienced new business sales professional with a track record of delivering revenue growth in a complex B2B environment.

You'll ideally bring:

  • Proven success in new business sales within telematics, fleet technology, SaaS, automotive or a related sector
  • Experience selling complex solutions with multiple stakeholders and long sales cycles
  • Strong commercial acumen and consultative selling skills
  • Experience managing enterprise-level opportunities and strategic accounts
  • Confidence leading negotiations and securing high-value contracts
  • Strong proposal, presentation and bid management capabilities
  • Experience working with CRM systems and managing robust sales pipelines
  • A customer-centric approach and the ability to build credibility at all levels
