The Role

We are recruiting for a high-performing new business sales professional to join a growing enterprise technology sales team.

This is a strategic hunter role focused on winning new mid-market and enterprise customers across the UK. You'll be responsible for generating opportunities, building relationships with senior stakeholders and delivering consultative technology solutions that help organisations improve connectivity, security and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, engage and secure new mid-market and enterprise customers.
  • Develop and execute proactive business development and prospecting strategies.
  • Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer challenges, infrastructure and future requirements.
  • Build tailored solutions across connectivity, networking, communications and security technologies.
  • Establish strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
  • Manage complex sales opportunities through qualification, proposal, negotiation and close.
  • Collaborate with technology partners and internal specialists to create strategic opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting and CRM discipline.

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience

  • Proven success winning new business within telecommunications, connectivity, managed services or wider technology markets.
  • Experience selling into mid-market, enterprise or large national organisations.
  • Strong understanding of business connectivity and associated technologies.
  • Demonstrable ability to self-generate opportunities and build a sales pipeline.
  • Experience managing complex, consultative sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Confidence engaging senior commercial and executive decision-makers.
  • Strong commercial negotiation and relationship management skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Exposure to SD-WAN, Ethernet, Dedicated Internet Access, Managed Networking, Cloud Voice, Unified Communications or Cyber Security solutions.
  • Experience working with partner-led solutions and wider technology ecosystems.
  • Background in highly competitive new logo acquisition environments.
