Senior Business Development Manager

Location: Manchester

Salary: Starting from £75,000 DOE + £5,000 Car Allowance + Uncapped Commission

Working style: Full time role, available for onsite, hybrid or remote candidates

We are hiring on behalf of an exciting specialist property finance lender that is entering the market with substantial funding and ambitious growth plans. Backed by an experienced leadership team and a strong funding line, this is a rare opportunity to join a business at an early stage and play a key role in its growth journey. Our client is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive broker relationships and originate new lending opportunities across the North. This is more than a traditional BDM position. As one of the first key hires within the business, you will have the opportunity to help shape the origination function, influence strategy, and build a team as the company grows. This role would suit an ambitious and commercially minded property finance professional looking for autonomy, progression, and the chance to make a genuine impact within a growing lender.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
