About the Role

We are seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Senior Business Development Manager to accelerate MiFinity's growth by acquiring new enterprise clients and platform partners, securing strategic B2B payment partnerships, securing strategic partnerships, and expanding our presence across key global markets.

This role is ideal for an experienced payments professional with a proven track record of selling payment solutions to online merchants and digital businesses. The successful candidate will be a proactive hunter who excels at identifying opportunities, building relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, and consistently delivering revenue growth.

You will play a key role in expanding MiFinity's footprint across sectors including FX and trading platforms, prediction markets, creator and influencer platforms, gig economy operators, financial services, staffing and HR tech, and other high-volume B2B2C disbursement markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Revenue. Win New Business. Expand Markets.
  • Identify, engage, and acquire new merchants and strategic partners across targeted industries and regions.
  • Build and manage a high-quality sales pipeline from prospecting through to contract execution and onboarding.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue, transaction volume, and new business targets.
  • Develop and execute market expansion strategies in alignment with company growth objectives.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage the end-to-end sales process.
  • Build strong relationships with merchants, payment partners, PSPs, acquirers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Represent MiFinity at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Compliance, Operations, Marketing, and Business Development teams to deliver successful client outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM reporting.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Hunter Mindset. Payments Expertise. Commercial Focus.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within payments, fintech, acquiring new enterprise clients and platform partners, Digita Wallets, payment gateways, open banking, alternative payment methods, or related financial services.
  • Proven experience selling payout, disbursement, or payment infrastructure solutions to platform operators, enterprise clients, regulated financial services firms, and digital-first businesses.
  • Strong understanding of the eCommerce, digital services, marketplace, subscription or affiliated sectors.
  • Demonstrated history of consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Experience managing complex commercial negotiations and enterprise-level sales cycles.
  • Existing network of contacts within the payments, fintech, or digital commerce ecosystem.
  • Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and capable of operating independently in a high-growth environment.
  • Willingness to travel internationally when required.
