The Opportunity
James Adams is partnering with an established, internationally operating technology business that is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to accelerate its growth across the UK hospitality market.
This is an opportunity to join a business with an impressive customer portfolio, a strong reputation within its specialist market, and the technology, resources, and commercial backing to support significant growth.
The company has built long-standing relationships with some of the most recognisable names in hospitality, helping organisations modernise their technology environments, improve operational efficiency, and deliver better experiences for their customers.
With continued investment in its proposition and ambitious plans for growth, the business is looking for an accomplished salesperson who can identify opportunities, open doors, and develop long-term commercial relationships across the hotel and hospitality sector.
Importantly, this isn't a role where you'll be expected to build a proposition from scratch. You'll be joining an established business with proven solutions, technical expertise, existing customer relationships, and the infrastructure to support complex sales opportunities.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
