Senior Business Development Manager – Fire Safety

Field Based – London & South East | Competitive Salary + Uncapped Commission + Benefits

Company Overview

Firetecnics is one of London’s most established LPCB-certified fire safety businesses, with more than 35 years’ experience supporting residential and commercial property customers.

As part of the Helix International Group, we combine specialist fire-safety expertise with the backing and capability of a wider risk, compliance and technology group.

We are now strengthening our commercial team to accelerate the growth of our recurring Service & Maintenance portfolio.

The Opportunity

This is a genuine new-business role for someone who enjoys creating opportunities, opening doors and winning long-term customer relationships.

  • You will have the autonomy to build your own pipeline, target the right customers and take opportunities from first conversation through to contract award.
  • You will also have the support of Firetecnics’ wider commercial, operational and technical teams, alongside marketing activity, referrals, cross-selling opportunities and existing market relationships.
  • The opportunity is particularly suited to someone who wants to do more than inherit a portfolio. You will have the chance to help shape and grow one.

What You will Be Doing

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Confidence selling to senior customer stakeholders.
  • Strong commercial judgement around pricing, margin and qualification.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles, tenders and negotiations.

Fire-safety Experience Is Advantageous, But Not Essential.

We are equally interested in high-performing commercial professionals from Hard FM, M&E, building services, HVAC, BMS, electrical maintenance, fire & security or other recurring technical-service environments where the customer base and sales model are transferable.
