About the Company

Dandelion Civilization develops an AI-powered platform for talent assessment, employee development, and human capital management. By combining digital simulations, behavioural analytics, and AI, we help organisations make better hiring decisions and build data-driven employee development programmes.

As we continue expanding internationally, we are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to help accelerate our commercial growth across Europe and other strategic markets.


About the Role

This role sits between strategy and execution.

You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships, and helping us expand into new markets. You'll work closely with the CEO, Product Team, Marketing, and Sales to turn market opportunities into long-term commercial growth.

Success in this role requires curiosity, commercial judgement, and the ability to navigate complex B2B sales environments. You'll spend as much time understanding customer challenges as you will developing new opportunities and partnerships.

As an early member of our commercial team, you will also contribute to how we position our product, approach new markets, and refine our commercial strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities across enterprise and strategic accounts.
  • Identify new market segments and evaluate growth opportunities.
  • Build relationships with prospective customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial discussions with senior decision-makers.
  • Develop account strategies for key prospects and strategic customers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns that generate qualified pipeline.
  • Work closely with the Product Team to communicate customer feedback and market insights.
  • Represent Dandelion Civilization at conferences, webinars, and industry events.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our commercial processes and go-to-market strategy.

What We're Looking For

Experience

  • At least 5 years' experience in Business Development, Enterprise Sales, Partnerships, or a similar commercial role.
  • Experience working in HRTech, EdTech, Enterprise SaaS, or another B2B technology business.
  • Experience developing new markets and generating business opportunities.
  • Experience building relationships with enterprise customers and strategic partners.
  • Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles.
  • Experience working in a start-up or high-growth technology company would be an advantage.
  • Experience working with HR technology products such as LMS, LXP, ATS, HRIS, Talent Management, Performance Management, Skill Assessment, or related solutions would be highly desirable.

Skills

  • Strong commercial and business development mindset.
  • Proven ability to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Confidence engaging with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
  • Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into commercial opportunities.
  • Experience with HubSpot or another modern CRM platform.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Cognism, Apollo, Clay, or similar prospecting tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

AI should already be part of your daily workflow.

We expect you to use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, and similar platforms to accelerate research, prospecting, account planning, proposal development, and day-to-day commercial activities.

Experience building AI-assisted workflows, creating AI agents for business development, or using AI to automate prospecting and customer research will be considered a strong advantage.
