Business Development Manager
We’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team and lead our product offering with c-suite level prospects across the UK. These would be highly innovative companies across sectors including fintech, AI, defence and sustainable tech.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience of building and developing new business relationships within at least one of these sectors, with an established network they can leverage to drive strategic partnerships.
This is a pivotal role in expanding RCK’s reach by building trusted relationships with relevant prospect clients, positioning us as their preferred vendor for Research & Development tax relief, Capital Allowance & Business Rates services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and embed a solid GTM strategy for new business development into RCK’s service lines
- Identify, engage, and onboard new clients who may benefit from our services
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders across a dynamic portfolio of clients.
- Develop a deep understanding of client needs and tailor collaboration strategies accordingly.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for clients.
- Represent RCK at industry events, networking opportunities, and professional association meetings.
- Track, report, and forecast performance and pipeline activity.
About You:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience of business development in either fintech/AI/defence/sustainable tech, with a strong, demonstrable network of credible relationships
- Strong existing network of credible relationships with key decision makers, with a proven ability to leverage relationships to drive results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders.
- Commercially minded with a track record of achieving growth targets.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously.
