Senior Business Development Manager – Insurtech

UK | Remote-first | London hub | Insurance SaaS | High-growth opportunity

The Opportunity

My client is a high-growth Insurtech SaaS business providing innovative technology solutions to the insurance industry. With continued growth across both the UK and US markets and a Series A funding round approaching, the business is expanding its Go-to-Market function and is looking for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to help drive its next phase of commercial growth. The business operates a remote-first model, with a strong focus on flexibility and work-life balance, while maintaining a London hub for collaboration and customer meetings.

About the Role

This is a hands-on new business role for someone who understands the UK insurance market, has experience selling SaaS solutions and is comfortable owning the full sales cycle. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you'll play an important role in growing the company's UK presence while helping shape its wider commercial strategy. There is also a clear progression opportunity, with the ambition for the successful candidate to develop into a Global Head of Sales position within the next 12 months as the business scales. For an experienced insurance SaaS seller looking for greater ownership, exposure to senior leadership and a potential route into a Global Head of Sales position, this is an opportunity to have a meaningful impact as the business scales.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
