SJC Partners is currently recruiting on behalf of a prestigious and growing eDiscovery firm for an experienced Senior Business Development Manager.

The successful candidate will join a highly regarded business that has continued to invest in and expand its teams over recent years. This is a senior, highly visible role within an established sales function, working closely alongside the Head of Business Development to shape and execute new-business strategy.

The position will also include management responsibilities and offers genuine scope to influence the continued development of the business development team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying, developing and converting new business opportunities across the UK legal market
  • Building trusted relationships with law firms, corporate legal teams and other key stakeholders
  • Developing and executing structured new-business strategies
  • Delivering a consultative, solutions-led approach to eDiscovery sales
  • Working closely with senior sales leadership on growth strategy and market positioning
  • Representing the business at relevant client and industry events across the UK
  • Supporting the management and development of the wider business development function

Requirements

  • At least five years’ successful new-business sales experience within eDiscovery
  • A demonstrable track record of winning new eDiscovery solutions work
  • Strong knowledge of legal processes and the EDRM
  • Good knowledge of Relativity or comparable eDiscovery platforms
  • Previous experience of consultative and solution-based selling
  • The credibility and communication skills to influence senior legal professionals
  • A structured, results-driven approach to sales
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking skills
  • Availability to attend client meetings and industry events across the UK
