This is a true new business development role focused on winning net-new logos across banking, financial institutions, challenger banks, building societies, and fintechs.
You will be responsible for opening relationships with prospective clients and converting them into long-term consulting customers across our core practices:

The role is based in London with a hybrid working model and regular client-facing engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and execute a target account strategy across the UK banking and financial services market, including retail banks, corporate banks, investment banks, building societies, challenger banks, neo-banks, and fintechs.

- Secure meetings with senior decision-makers including CEOs, COOs, CIOs, CTOs, CROs, Heads of Change, Heads of Regulatory Change, and Heads of Data.
- Lead opportunities from initial engagement through proposal, RFP, commercial negotiation, and contract execution.
- Develop and maintain a £3m-£4m qualified pipeline of new client opportunities.

- Collaborate closely with Consulting leadership, subject matter experts, and Marketing to drive targeted campaigns and business development initiatives.
- Represent Delta Capita at industry events and client engagements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
