About Allica Bank

Allica is the UK’s fastest growing company - and the fastest-growing financial technology (Fintech) firm ever. Our purpose is to help established SMEs, one of the last major underserved opportunities in Fintech.

Established SMEs are the backbone of local communities - representing over a third of our economy - yet have been largely neglected both by traditional high street banks and modern fintech providers.

Role Description

As a Senior Business Development Manager in our Invoice Finance team, you'll take on a more complex and higher-value origination remit, working the largest and most strategically important opportunities across our acquisition channels. You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, take the lead on more sophisticated deal structures, and act as a role model and informal mentor to more junior members of the BDM team, while continuing to personally originate and close new business.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of higher-value, strategically important Invoice Finance opportunities and introducer relationships
  • Get up to speed on Kriya's most complex deal structures and credit considerations
  • Build relationships with junior BDMs and begin sharing best practice on prospecting and qualification
  • Own origination and closing of higher-value, complex Invoice Finance opportunities, driving income against monthly, quarterly, and annual targets
  • Help build and manage a portfolio of strategically important introducer relationships, including key broker and accountancy firm partnerships
  • Take the lead on structuring more complex lending proposals, working closely with credit to get deals over the line
  • Act as a mentor to junior BDMs, sharing best practice on prospecting, qualification, and deal structuring
  • Play a key role in developing and executing the commercial business plan for Invoice Finance, in line with strategic goals
  • Identify and pursue multi-product cross-sell opportunities across the wider Kriya and Allica Bank offering
  • Comply with all mandatory policies and adhere to operational procedures to maintain internal controls

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
