Role Description
The Senior Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bristol, responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic client acquisition and long-term account development. This role focuses on identifying and qualifying senior-level decision makers, understanding their business priorities, and positioning ABM Alliance’s solutions to meet their needs.

Day-to-day activities include:
- Managing the full sales cycle
- Building and maintaining a robust pipeline
- Conducting consultative calls and meetings
- Preparing proposals and commercial agreements
The Senior Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with marketing, event production, and operations teams to align outreach with campaign activity and ensure successful delivery of executive engagements. This role also involves tracking market trends, providing feedback on product and event offerings, and contributing to sales forecasting and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and B2B sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing complex deals.
- Experience in consultative selling and relationship management with senior executives (C-level and VP-level) in enterprise or mid-market organisations.
- Background in events, conferences, or professional services, with the ability to articulate value propositions for executive experiences and technology solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different stakeholders.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills, including the ability to interpret market trends, segment accounts, and prioritise opportunities.
- Comfort working with CRM systems and sales enablement tools, and interpreting data to inform sales activities and reporting.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities simultaneously, and meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Previous experience in a similar senior sales or business development role is highly beneficial; experience in technology-driven or event-led solutions is a plus.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bristol

Compensation
- Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE) with an OTE of £150,000+ and uncapped commission.

Schedule
09:30 - 18:00, Monday to Friday (8.5-hour shifts, including a one-hour unpaid lunch break).
