Senior BDM (Logistics and Freight)
National Role, based anywhere in the UK
Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 + Car/ Allowance/ Commission/ Bonus Structure

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across different industries.
- Build and manage strong customer relationships to generate and qualify leads.
- Deliver customer-focused solutions while ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve both short- and long-term targets.
- Meet and exceed sales goals, including revenue and profit expectations.
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and provide regular sales reports.
- Collaborate with operations, marketing, and other teams to maximise opportunities and retain business.
- Promote company values by acting as a professional ambassador in the community and with clients.
- Monitor customer creditworthiness to ensure sustainable business relationships.
- Stay alert to market trends and work with marketing/telesales to turn insights into results.

What We’re Looking For:
- Proven business development experience in freight forwarding/logistics.
- Strong relationship-building skills, including at senior level.
- Consistent record of winning new business and exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to develop and deliver effective sales strategies.
- Skilled in negotiation, CRM use, and reporting.
- Commercially aware, collaborative, and a confident presenter.
