Build new business at the forefront of drug discovery and early development
Would you like to help shape the growth of a scientific business by connecting our expertise with biotech and pharmaceutical companies developing the next generation of therapies? At Unilabs Pharma Solutions, your success will come from spotting opportunities others might miss, opening new conversations and turning them into trusted, long-term relationships. We are looking for an experienced business developer who can make an impact from the outset, building a strong pipeline and converting opportunities into new business within their first 12 months. You will combine the curiosity to understand a client’s science with the commercial instinct to recognise opportunity and the drive to turn promising conversations into lasting partnerships.
Unilabs Pharma Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to drive new business growth across its specialist bioanalytical, DMPK and drug development support services portfolio.
Unilabs Pharma Solutions supports pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies worldwide through specialised services including DMPK, ADME, bioanalysis, biomarker testing and immunogenicity support. With laboratories in the UK and Denmark, the organisation provides analytical expertise that supports customers in progressing drug candidates from discovery through clinical development and beyond.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
