Senior Business Development Manager

Bristol (central)

Summary of the role:

This isn't just another Senior BDM role. You'll join Hybrid at an exciting stage of growth, with the autonomy to own the full sales cycle, win high-value university partnerships and build your own sales team as you scale.

You'll be selling Study International, our established global student recruitment platform, trusted by universities for over 15 years to increase international brand awareness, generate high-quality leads and recruit students globally.

What you'll do:

  • Own the full sales cycle, from discovery through to close, with typical deal cycles of just 2 weeks.
  • Build and lead your own sales pod, come in, make your mark and as you scale, you'll have the opportunity to hire and build out your own high-performing sales pod.
  • Build senior-level relationships with leading universities and international education decision-makers.
  • Act as a strategic partner, understanding clients' international recruitment ambitions and creating tailored advertising and lead generation solutions across the Study International platform.
  • Lead the room with compelling presentations, proposals and commercial negotiations.
  • Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder deals, building relationships and momentum from first conversation through to signed agreement.
  • Own your market and your pipeline, with the freedom to develop your approach, prioritise opportunities and create new commercial opportunities.
  • Help shape the team as we scale, sharing what works, developing best practice and playing a key role in building the next generation of Hybrid's sales organisation.
  • Own the number, managing your pipeline closely and consistently delivering against ambitious revenue targets.

What we're looking for:

  • 8+ years' experience in B2B sales (tech, SaaS or MarTech sales desirable)
  • A proven track record of winning consultative, high-value sales.
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent commercial, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, organised and results-driven.
